Our terms and conditions

We look forward to welcoming you to our home.  By booking you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.

Cancellations 

We ask that you kindly let us know at least 24 hrs before you are due to arrive  if you will be cancelling your booking. Please note that we are a small establishment So your help with this is most appreciated. 

Arrival and Departure

Check in is available from 14:00 PM (GMT+1) on the day of arrival.  Please let us know if your arrival time is likely to be after 21:00 PM (GMT+1) in order that we can ensure we are available to greet you on arrival. 

We ask that you please vacate your room by 11:00 AM (GMT+1) on the morning of departure.  

Car parking

Free car parking is available on site.  Cars parked here are at owners’ risk.

Cycle, motorcycle and or ski equipment storage

We can provide a locked garage to store your bicycle(s) or ski equipment during your stay.  We do not accept any liability for any damage or loss incurred to your property whilst stored.  

Breakfast

Breakfast is served between 07:30 AM and 09:00 AM. If you need to leave earlier, please let us know the day before and we can provide you with a breakfast box .

Please let us know any special dietary requirements you may have at the time of booking using the ‘Special Requirements’ field.  

Accessibility 

All our rooms are on the first floor therefore and may therefore not be suitable for wheelchair access or for people with severe mobility limitations

Pets

We love pets but unfortunately our garden is not secure and therefore we are unable to welcome them for a stay here.

Damage and Breakages

Please take care of our home.  We accept that accidents can happen and ask that you report these as soon as they occur so that we can deal with any spillages or replace the broken item.  We do not normally charge for breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant.

Keys 

You have access to your room(s) 24 hours a day throughout your stay using the key given to you when you register on arrival.  You have full responsibility of this key for the duration of your stay.  Lost keys will be charged for as for insurance reasons, we are required to fit a new lock. You will also be given a key code for the front door.

Lost Property

We are happy to return items that you have left following departure.  However, before returning the items to you we will notify you of the cost to cover postage and packaging in order to secure payment in advance. 

Missing items

We reserve the right to charge for missing items. 

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicle or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves.

Insurance
It is therefore strongly recommended that you take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy, which will include cancellation cover and full cover for your personal belongings as no such cover is provided by us. Accordingly, any such losses incurred are your responsibility. It is further recommended that you take out personal liability and accidental damage insurance for all members of your party to cover against accidental or negligent damage to the property, and protect against loss in the event of a deduction from the security deposit. 

 

Telephone

We do not offer phones in the rooms. Mobile phone reception in this area is reasonable but can on occasions be disrupted by the weather.  If there is an emergency and we are on site, we will do all we can to be of assistance.  Contact details for local doctors, dentists, pharmacies and emergency services can be found in the Guest Information Room.

Smoking

Smoking is NOT permitted within any rooms or on the balcony.  Smoking is permitted outside and in the garden. Please note that offending guests may be asked to leave immediately and may be liable for cleaning of any rooms.

Termination Policy

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to terminate without notice, an individuals stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others. Please note that non-compliance with our non-smoking policy may constitute termination.  In such circumstances, no refunds will be made. 

Honesty and Feedback

We try to ensure any information we use in promotional material and social media, such as our website is accurate and remains up to date.  However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or any events, attractions, sights or services we reference via third party sites will be open or available during your stay.   

If you have a problem regarding your accommodation or the facilities during your stay with us, please talk to us and we will try our best to resolve the matter.   

We welcome all forms of constructive feedback, whether this about our website and content, or the accommodation and experience of staying with us.  Your feedback helps us to improve what we do and ultimately to become better hosts.

Prices

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.  This does not affect bookings already made.

Cancellation by Us

Should it become necessary for us to cancel a booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments made will be refunded in full.  Should you wish to, we will attempt to book you into another bed and breakfast in the local area in a similar standard of room(s). Should this establishment be more expensive than Casa Davina we will pay the difference for the first night of your stay.  Our liability will not extend beyond these conditions.  

Events beyond our control

We cannot be held responsible for events outside our control such as a flood, fire, earthquake, war etc. that result in the change, cancellation or curtailment of your stay with us; or impact upon your travel arrangements to or from Italy.   Compensation for any losses or additional expenditure or damages you subsequently incur will not be made under these circumstances.

  •      Booking Reservation number (which you received via email)

If you prefer, email your cancellation request to: info@casadavina.com with the above mentioned information and the reason for the cancellation.  

Once you have cancelled your reservation you should receive an email confirming the cancellation. Please check your inbox and spam/junk mail folders. If you don’t receive an email please contact us.
